RODNEY LAWRENCE DADEY
Date of Passing: Dec 01, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRODNEY LAWRENCE DADEY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rod, at his home Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the age of 54. Predeceased by his father Lawrence. Rod leaves to mourn his wife of 33 years, Sheryl, sons Derek (Jodi and granddaughter Penny) and Trevor, mother Rene-Aime, brother Marcel, sister Lisa (Dave - Dorian and Elan), brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces, nephews and countless friends. Sandy Lake was a special place for Rod, it is where he met his wife and where his passion for hunting and fishing was instilled to him by his father and passed on to his boys. His unique sense of humour and quick wit were unmatched. The smiles and laughter he "provoked" will truly be missed. Service Friday, December 6 at Norberry Community Centre, 26 Molgate Ave. at 7:00 p.m., refreshments to follow.

Dear Sheryl and family, I am deeply saddened by your loss. It was only a year ago Sheryl when we lost another dear friend and now here you are at the same crossroad. I only met Rod on a few occasions when he came out to cheer us on during curling. He was always full of smiles and good humour. My heart is breaking for you, dear friend. May God and family support and guide you through this difficult time. All my love to you! Donna - Posted by: Donna Pigden (Friend) on: Dec 10, 2013

Spending time in the Dadey household was a place where great laughter and quick wit flowed with ease. The gift of laughter is like no other and to all who knew Rod, he gifted us that. My heart is with your family in this time of deep sorrow. Friend of the family, Gwen Hay - Posted by: Gwen Hay (Friend of the family) on: Dec 06, 2013
