IRVING SHNIER In his 103rd year, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Forest Hill Place in Toronto. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Shnier. Loving father and father-in-law of Robert and Simmy Shnier, Bonnie and Larry Moncik. Dear brother of Esther Remis, Max Shnier, Philip Shnier, Allan Shnier, and his late siblings Bertha Kliman, George Shnier, Jack Shnier, Cecil Shnier, Clifford Shnier, Norman Shnier, and Babe Finkelstein. Devoted grandfather of Jordan and Gillian, Kevin and Jennifer, Eric and Judy, and Brian and Hyla. Devoted great-grandfather of Jayden, Logan, Benjamin, Sophie, Justin, Eden, Marlee, Shayla, and Hannah. Special thanks to his devoted caregivers Ligaya and Mercy, and to the caring staff at Forest Hill Place. Irving will be remembered for his kindness, positive disposition, unconditional love of his family, and his remarkable sense of humour. Funeral at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin), Toronto, ON for service on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park.
