Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Remember Brenda and her sisters and brother growing up next door in the 60s and went to Lord Nelson with her. Used to like the skating rink their dad would make in the backyard and her dad was an awesome guy.. Saw her at a Sisler reunion many years ago and she didn’t seem to have aged. A nice girl and my brother and I will always have nice memories of her. Sorry for your loss - Posted by: Gord Scott (Neighbour ) on: Jan 10, 2021

  • A very nice neighbour, I knew Brenda very well in my youth. We would have lunch at her house when my folks were at work. Make no mistake she was a loving and caring person who grew up hard with very little. A genuine soft soul and friend to most. My best to all who loved her and her family and children. She will be missed. Kevin - Posted by: Kevin Smith (friend ) on: Jan 18, 2014

  • Mom knew her time was coming to be with the Lord. Before her passing, Mom said to me, she is happy that she will meet the one who knew how many tears she cried in her life and how many hairs she had on her head. Mom relayed to me that she did not want anyone crying at her bedside when the time came. When Mom passed I arrived about 10 minutes after and I opened the door of her room and felt instant peace and comfort, for her, for myself. I told Mom every day when I sat with her, that when she was ready to just go, not to worry and just go home. Mom, Grandma, Brenda to others, is at peace. I miss you Mom. Forever in my heart. - Posted by: Tricia Holzberger (Daughter) on: Dec 19, 2013

  • Brenda will be missed, but I know that she is in a much better place now. - Posted by: Azure Despins (Granddaughter) on: Dec 16, 2013

  • I am so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing. She was my sister's girlfriend and we knew Buss and Macrena too (not sure if I spelled those names correctly). I was friends with Gloria. My family moved away from Winnipeg in 1969 and so only saw Brenda a few more times after that time. She once came to visit us (in Prince Albert) to contemplate her eventual marriage to Greg. - Posted by: Paul Barkman (Family Friend ) on: Dec 15, 2013
