Date of Passing: Nov 24, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE PATRICIA ADAMS (MCMILLAN) 1931 -2013 Pat passed away peacefully November 24, 2013 in Aldergrove, BC. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Mary McMillan of Victoria, BC and her brother Ray McMillan living in the USA. She is survived by her partner Imrich Miklosko of Aldergrove, BC; her three children and four grandchildren: Darrell (Pat) Adams, grandsons Jared and Kevin Adams of Winnipeg, Barb Muzik (Adams) and granddaughters Katie (Jon) Muzik-Cunnington and Marcie Muzik of Winnipeg, Derek (Debbie) Adams of Abbotsford, BC, also sister Judy McMillan of Steveston, BC and her brother Bob (Joyce) McMillan of Kelowna, BC. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Mom grew up in the North End of Winnipeg, where she met and married our father, James Donald Adams (deceased). She made a life with her family in Transcona. Mom was very well liked, respected and loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed the many jobs she had in the community, as well as her love for bingo, but the biggest joy of her life was her children and grandchildren. Growing up with mom, we had it easy. She was not only patient, but understood the younger generation and accepted the changes in times. She was fair and open to our opinions. All our childhood friends knew that Mrs. Adams would feed and shelter them, and welcome them into our home. She enjoyed listening to music in the house, where she would often be caught dancing alone. She will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by all. If you so desire, any donations can be made to Alzheimers Society or a children's fund. A private service to be held in Langley, BC at a later date. Reunited and dancing with her Family of angels

Unfortunately I hadn't see Pat in many years, the last time being in Winnipeg.. She was a soft spoken woman who listened when you spoke.. I'm sure her family and numerous friends will miss her dearly, especially Judy who she was so close to... My condolences to everyone... - Posted by: Bev Harbour (First Cousin) on: Dec 09, 2013

My deepest condolences to my friend, Barb, on this sad occasion. Losing a Mom is never an easy time and I wish you and your family a special closeness that will bond memories of those good times spent with your Mom. Take care, Pat. - Posted by: E. P. Bazylo () on: Dec 07, 2013
