REGINA HERGENROEDER (nee BERNHARDT) It is with heartfelt sadness that Regina's family announces her passing on November 30, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children; son Karl, daughter Monika, daughter Evelyn Sinclair (Michael), grandchildren Jacinda and Andrew (Stephanie), and daughter Elsie Rathbone (Brent), grandchildren Jerod and Keeli. She also leaves her sister Veronika Komor and niece Helga and family, brother George Bernhardt (Eva) and their children William, Debbie and family and Resa, niece Birgit Bernhardt and family, and nephew Otto Bernhardt and family. Regina was predeceased by her husband Georg, son George Jr., her parents Anton and Anna Bernhardt, brothers and sisters-in-law Johann and Sefi Bernhardt, Anton and Johanna Bernhardt and brother-in-law Paul Komor. Regina was born on December 21, 1925 in Puspoknadasd, Hungary. In 1944 she left Hungary and settled in Germany where she met and married Georg in 1950. After the birth of their first three children, they immigrated to Winnipeg in 1955. Once in Canada, their family was blessed with two more children. Regina's devotion to her family was a testament of her strength. Her faith was an important part of her life, through which she made many lifelong friends. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all those who knew her. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Highway, with viewing at 10:30 a.m. Interment to be announced.
