I met Rob or Robb at Visa and quickly knew that this guy was special in many ways. We shared a love for music and am so grateful that he made me a compilation of tracks on a CD that I can now keep with me and listening to them, regardless of circumstances, would and will always remind me of him. I admired his intelligence and will cherish the times we laughed to tears. I miss him every day. - Posted by: Mark Halliday (Friend) on: Dec 18, 2014

I'm so sorry that this brilliant mind ended this way. Met Rob in 1996 ..we were together for 11 years..... he was ridiculous in his intellectual capacity. God bless his parents.... they were, for a short time, my in-laws.... and wonderful, wonderful people who did not deserve this tragedy.... God Bless you.... - Posted by: Teresa T (friend) on: Sep 27, 2014

Every time my dad Arthur and I would go to a track event, Rob was always the first guys we looked for. If we were lucky enough to be parked beside him for the weekend, it was guaranteed to be a weekend of non-stop laughs, stories and bantering. He was such a fun guy to be around and he always offered a hand when someone needed help with their car. It was an absolute privilege to be his friend and I gain comfort knowing he and Brenda followed their dream of moving to B.C. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Thank you for the memories, Rob! - Posted by: Greg Quinlan (Friend in the Porsche Club) on: Apr 09, 2014

I last texted with Rob on Sept 29 and at the time he indicated that he was having health issues. I have texted him several times since then and have not heard back. I found his obituary when I googled his name today. I can't tell you how sad I feel for him and his family. Rob had a very unique zest for life that I found infectious. I got to know him at the track and I remember the time that he offered me a compassionate shoulder to rest on when I was having marital problems a few years ago. My only regret with Rob is that we didn't become closer friends and that we didn't share more time together. He will be dearly missed. - Posted by: Mick Oliveia (Friend in the Porsche Club) on: Apr 09, 2014
