Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM CAMERON MUIRHEAD January 21, 1961 - December 13, 2013 With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Bill on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, aged 52, at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, after a sudden illness, followed by a bravely fought battle of two months. Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife and soulmate Belinda, daughter Courtney (Ivan), grandchildren, Conner and Rowynn, son Michael (Lindsay), sisters, Lori Wren (Chris) and Linda Muirhead, numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, all of his nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Annie. Bill's family meant the world to him. He especially loved being Conner and Rowynn's "Papa". His memory will be kept alive for them. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Don Muirhead in 1986 and Ruth Muirhead in 2007, by his father-in-law Maurice Morin in 2005, his mother-in-law Rose Marie Morin in 2005 and by his baby niece Kelly Gerelus in 1974. The family would like to thank his employer and friend, Ray Field and his wife Elaine for their friendship and support over the last 10 years, and especially the last couple months. The family would also like to thank Belinda's sister Kelly and her husband Duayne and Belinda's Aunty Judy for their enormous love and support. As per Bill's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of one's choice may be made. All our love Bill. May you rest in peace. Until we meet again.

Some of my best memories of youth were hanging out with Bill and that 62 Chevy hot rod he had. The coil would short and give you a jolt through the welded chain steering wheel so one had to drive it with socks on your hands. When the cop decided to move it over over off the road he didn't know about the socks.. Many other great memories including one where Bill took on a carload of guys that were harassing a young girl driving home very scared in the wee hours on Portage. Very sorry to find this today. I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We went through junior high together and he was always so fun to be around. And although we both went to different high schools and then moved out of Winnipeg, he was the kind of guy that you would never forget. A true gentlemen in the flesh. My dearest heart felt sympathy to his family. Jo-Anne Allbutt - Posted by: Jo-Anne Allbutt (school friend) on: Dec 17, 2013

Spent many good times with Bill and his old Winnipeg friends in the late 70s and 80s. Camping at Little Joe Lake and Clear Lake come to mind. I remember waking up one morning and hearing him ask why his toes were stuck together. He had done a fire dance the evening before, by accident of course. Will remember you forever old friend. - Posted by: Kely Frame (old freind 80s) on: Dec 16, 2013

My sincere condolences on the passing of Billie. We all grew up together at Belair over many summers and Billie would hang out with my brother Rob, me with Linda and my older sister Heather with Laurie. Remembering those happy days. Sincerely, Diane - Posted by: Diane Semper (Murdoch) (friend of Linda) on: Dec 14, 2013
