IRENE ELIZABETH MOIR (nee GOUGH) March 28, 1931 to December 11, 2013 Peacefully, Mom (Red) passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Left surviving Mom are her four children, Kim, Bob (Judy), Sandy (Kelly), Dianne (Eric); nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many friends. Mom worked hard (for over 30 years at Rexall Drugs), played hard, and loved her family more than anything. She lived life to the fullest. Twin Beaches, bowling, Lester Beach and VLT's always brought a smile to her face. We will always remember her saying "never say hate" and "be nice". Mom, we love you and will always miss you. In compliance with our Mom's wishes there will not be a Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 2157 Portage Avenue, 204 - 897- 4665, is in care of arrangements. wojciksfuneralchapel.com

Kim, Bob, Sandy, Dianne and Families. We were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Red was a wonderful friend to our family and especially mom ( Ruby ). We remember many fun times together at Twin Beaches. She was a special lady and will be missed but fondly remembered. With our deepest sympathy, Candy and Kent Cretton and Family. - Posted by: Candy and Kent Cretton (Family Friend) on: Dec 27, 2013

Red and my mother, Ruby Buckler enjoyed many good times at Twin Lakes Beach. They almost always had a painting project every summer which helped the girls with their tans! Red and Rilla always did the dishes after those great barbequed roast beef dinners. The card games and water fights were also highlights of the summer. Regards to all the family. - Posted by: Rilla and Lorne Britton (Family Friend) on: Dec 24, 2013

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Mrs. Moir was MOM to all and welcomed all to her table and home. Just growing up around the corner and a girlfriend of Sandy's I have many fond memories, especially her Xmas eve parties. She was devoted to her family who never went without. She always had a smile and a positive and happy disposition. She was a wonderful MOM and PERSON and will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to her family. To the entire Moir family from all the Allbutts we are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Growing up across the street from you, we cherish many memories with your family. We spent so much time at your house that Mrs. Moir was like a second mom. Always greeted us with a smile and kind words, no matter how many of us were at her door. She was one terrific woman with a smile and kind word to everyone. She will be missed. - Posted by: Jo-Anne Allbutt (Family friend) on: Dec 17, 2013
