Above all he enjoyed time spent with his family. He will be profoundly missed. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory is appreciated to a charity of your choice. A private gathering of family and friends will take place at the home of his daughter Enid. Far away family members will also have a private celebration of his life at a later date.

Dear Joan, Lia, Enid, Andrew and Families: I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your husband and father. I worked at the Assiniboine Clinic many years ago and Dr. Mosher was also my physician. A humble, kind and gracious man - a wealth of knowledge as a physician and surgeon - I will be forever grateful for his "being there" to assist me in safely bringing 4 of my children into the world. Nobody could ask for a finer physician to entrust their care to. I am thankful for all the years of his expertise and friendship - he shall be greatly missed. RIP Dr. Mosher . . . may God hold you in the palm of his hand . . . and may you, his family, find peace in your memories of him . . . - Posted by: Lois Middleton (Stewart) (nee Woodcock) ((former patient)) on: Dec 18, 2013

My condolences to the family. Spent many days and hours with Garth and his family at their home and cottage. Garth had a great sense of humour and we shared many laughs. With an incredible well rounded knowledge of most subjects, Garth regaled, entertained and taught me more than a few things. He was also behind the wheel of that boat of his on many occassions in Echo Bay as I learnt how to water ski. Garth and his family were a huge part of my life for many years, and I'll miss and think of him often....especially when those damn Habs of his are on Hockey Night in Canada. Thanks for everything Garth, and love to all the Mosher clan..... - Posted by: Craig Thullner (Old Friend) on: Dec 17, 2013

Garth was a great doctor and a person who firmly believed in his practice and the care of his patients. In 1997 my father came to Manitoba and while visiting he asked if I had a doctor that he could see? I suggested for my dad to visit Garth.. Garth without hesitance said sure send the old fellow in... After a few hours I picked up my dad at the clinic, I asked my dad what was Garth's findings.. He said I am fine, just getting up in age and must act accordingly.. Any thing else? My dad replied, he said I can still have a drink of scotch ..... just don't cover the ice cube and then smiled.. I will never forget that moment... A great doctor and our prayers go out to the Mosher family.. Naylor/ Hamilton family... - Posted by: James Naylor (Patient ) on: Dec 15, 2013

My sympathies to the Mosher family. Although you do not know me, I wanted to let you know what a compassionate physician he was. I was a patient of Dr. Mosher's for over 30 years. He guided me through 3 pregnancies and my father's death. I will never forget him. Lynda Dick - patient - Posted by: Lynda Dick (patient) on: Dec 14, 2013
