JEAN M. KLASZ 1920- 2013 Jean Matilda Klasz, nee Florkosky died peacefully in her sleep early Tuesday morning December 10. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Frank Klasz, August 1988. Jean was the last of eight children born to Caroline and Carl Florkosky, September 1, 1920. She grew up and went to school in the Emerson/Ridgeville area of Southern Manitoba and came to Winnipeg to work. She met and married Joe June 25, 1941. Her family always came first. She enjoyed part time work at Eatons and later her warm winters in Texas in Pine to Palm Park at Weslaco. She is the last of her generation. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, Bill, Henry, Roy and Albert, and three sisters Theresa, Elise and Anna. She will be missed by her three daughters, Carol Patricia (Ricky), married to Don, Laura, married to Andrew, and Teresa Clare, married to Wayne. She will also be remembered fondly by four grandchildren, Tricia and Robin, (Ricky) Jamie and Donny (Don's children) and five great-grandchildren, Kirby and Tilly, and Jack, Kara and Tess. Her family wishes to Thank all the staff Tuxedo Villa for last months of care. In lieu of flowers a donation may be sent to a charity of choice. Memorial service Monday, December 16, at 10:00 a.m., Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave.
