JOHN REGINALD SHAW March 1, 1938 - November 16, 2013 John was born March 1, 1938 to Reginald and Susan (nee Pritchard) Shaw in Montreal, Quebec. On November 16, with great courage John passed away. He is survived by his children Stephen, Robin (Al), Patrick, Candace, Shannon (Ian), his seven grandchildren, his sister Marguerite, his sister-in-law Gwen and many nephews and nieces. John enjoyed and lived a full life. He was very active and involved at the legion in Ottawa having served as the president for one year and being a member of the committee for many years. He enjoyed playing darts, shuffle board, pool, bowling, horse shoes and dancing. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. A celebration of life was held at the Eastview Legion Branch, 294 Cyr Avenue, Vanier, Ontario on December 2, at 1:30 p.m. Thank you to the staff of Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital for making him comfortable and taking care of him. Also thank you to his friends at the legion for helping with the Celebration of Life.
