Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE MARY DESAUTELS When she was in her early 20s Cecile travelled west to spend a week in the Rockies and but for one short interval, she never left the mountains she loved so much. Living in Banff, Canmore and lastly in Marysville, BC, Cecile's spirit left us on December 1, 2013 in the Kelowna General Hospital. Her brilliant smile and playful ways endeared her to all who came into contact with her. Life had delivered Cecile many hardships but she was able to overcome them with grace and a dignity that comforted those that cared about her. She was very proud of her entire family, but she particularly reveled in the successes of her nieces and nephews: Lorrie, Joanne, DeAnna, Ian, Allie, Sam, Katie and Eli. Cecile will be sadly missed by her sisters Helen and Lorraine, her brother Michael and by all of her mountain friends. At her request, there will be no service but a quiet family ceremony will be held at her most treasured place Mount Rundle.
