ERNEST DEMERY 1922 - 2013 Ernest Demery born Orest Drohomereski on September 19, 1922 passed away peacefully on December 13, 2013. Ernest was predeceased by his parents Nick and Anne, his oldest brother Merlin and his youngest brother Raymond. He is survived by his loving wife Marian of 64 years, his children Cindy (Ernie), Blair (Tammy), his grandchildren Mandi (Jeff) and newest addition Ethan. His brother Emil (Florence) of Winnipeg and Stan (Violet) of BC, along with numerous nieces and nephews across Canada and the US. Since he was a young boy dad put his faith and hope in the words of the Bible. He was an active Jehovah's Witness until his death. He loved to talk about the scriptures and his belief in a resurrection to life in paradise on earth. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall located at 325 Wallasey Street. At this time we would like to thank all the nurses at the Concordia Nursing Home for their wonderful care of dad in his last days, right up until the end they said he retained his sense of humor and his quick smile. Thank you ladies very much for making dad a part of your family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the nursing home in Ernest's name if anyone wishes.
