THERESE (TERRY) RODDY
Born: Jul 10, 1940
Date of Passing: Dec 03, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE (TERRY) RODDY (nee SELLNER) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear mother on December 3, 2013 in Mississauga, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband John, parents Bert and Kay Sellner, and sister Judy Myska. She will forever be missed by her children Joanne Rodrigues (Dennis), Bill and Brendan (Danielle), grandchildren Matthew, Liam, Paige and Pierce, her sister Anne Fraser (Blair), brothers Jim (Renée) and Chris (Karen) as well as nieces and nephews. Terry was born in Cambridge, Ontario July 10, 1940. She moved to Winnipeg in 1960 where she would meet the handsome and charming John Roddy. They lived in Winnipeg until 1987 when they both returned to where she grew up. Terry was always dedicated to her family, creating a safe place to grow up. She will be remembered for her culinary and sewing skills, never afraid of a challenge. Her love of song was shared in the different choirs that she was a part of. She went back to school to become an accountant, using these skills in a variety of jobs in both Manitoba and Ontario. Terry lived her life right until the end. The night before she was out dancing. Early the next morning, she suffered a stroke. As she had the forethought to become registered for organ donation, she was able to donate her lungs, kidneys and liver. Four people and in turn four families have benefited from this wonderful gift. A beautiful celebration of her life has already taken place.

Aunt Jenny was so fond of Terry and will miss her terribly. I was not around Terry that much through her life but know that she was a very special person. She will be in our hearts forever. - Posted by: Heather Lowe and Aunt Jenny (Cousin and Aunt) on: Dec 31, 2013

I can't help but smile when I think of my sweet cousin Terry. Strong when she needed to be but to the end, one of the kindest souls I have ever known. Will love and miss her always. - Posted by: Pauline Benjamin (cousin) on: Dec 30, 2013
