STELLA MOYEN July 8, 1946 - December 12, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stella Moyen on Thursday, December 12 in Hemet, California. Left to cherish Stella's memories are her husband George of 47 years, her children Neil Moyen (Mellissa) of Winnipeg, Debra Hanenburg (Eric) of Lynden, WA, and Barb Moyen of Toronto and grandsons Christopher and Matthew Moyen, and Liam and Eli Hanenburg; brother Lloyd Peters of Osoyoos, BC. She was predeceased by her parents Bibiane and Angus Peters, her stepfather Bert Mann and her brother Ronald Peters. Stella was born in Sudbury, Ontario and was raised in Redvers and Belleguarde, Saskatchewan and Brandon, Manitoba. She married George Moyen May 20, 1966 and they ran a beauty supply business together for 30 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They retired in March, 2003 and enjoyed ten years together going south for the winter each year. Her death was very sudden and unexpected in Hemet, California and a small service was held in CA in December, 2013. Funeral arrangements are being held in Winnipeg, Manitoba May 17, 2014.   • I had such a shock, George, when I looked through the obits of the day, (which I do regularly) and saw Stella's face! I am so very saddened, and sorry for your loss. She was always so pleasant and helpful! It's very hard to lose your loved one! This month on the 28th, It will be 2 years, that my beloved Ken passed away. The moment I met you 16 years ago you both treated me like family, while working together you taught me alot, Both of you in different ways. Stella was like a second Mom to me always giving and guiding, I learned so much from that wonderful woman. we laughed and cried sometimes, shared stories, and loved and cared for our moms like they were precious angels.
