To my Auntie Margaret: It's so hard to find the words to express my feelings on your passing. You were so special to me. You have touched so many people's lives in so many ways. Because of you many families from all over the world have met each other and learned of our family heritage. Because of you I have learned to make borscht and perogies. Because of you I learned to live life to the fullest. Because of you I can laugh as loud and as hard as I want. Because of you I can dance a wicked polka. Because of you I can be me. Because of you I have the nickname "Speedball". Because of you I can count to ten in German. Because of you Auntie Margaret I can say: ich liebe dich (I Love You). With much sadness and tears I say to the best aunt in the world: ich liebe dich and you will always be in my heart. There will only ever be one Auntie Margaret! Hundreds of her nieces and nephews (several generations) are in tremendous mourning. Throughout her life she tirelessly developed a loving relationship with us all. Now it's her time to rest. She had the coolest car and no one beat her at crib. You will be very fondly remembered, Auntie Margaret, and very sadly missed. - Posted by: Joe Ahrens (Great nephew) on: Dec 27, 2013

Aunt Margaret was truly a wonderful person. She loved all of her nieces & nephews and we all loved her. Her family was very important to her. She would visit us in Toronto during the Exhibition and we would play BINGO. We would go to football games and she loved the Blue Bombers. I'll miss her. May she rest in peace.
