Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE GAUTHIER Mrs. Alice Gauthier (Bazinet) passed away peacefully at 9:25 a.m. on December 26, 2013. Alice was born on May 11, 1927 on the family farm in Eriksdale, Manitoba. Her parents were Clara (Gagne) and Frank Bazinet, who had nine children: Isabelle, Eugene, Clara, Ernest, Victor, Francois, Eddie, Alice and Arthur. Alice married Henry Gauthier at Holy Cross Church in St. Boniface, Manitoba. They had four children: Linda, Diane, Denis and Neil. Alice and Henry lived all of their married life in St. Boniface, where they raised their family. Alice was employed for many years as a cashier at the Health Sciences Centre, where she was highly respected and developed many friendships. Alice was predeceased by her: parents, husband Henry, daughter Diane, son Denis, brothers Eugene, Victor, Ernest, Francois, Arthur, sisters Clara and Isabelle. Alice is survived by her: brother, Eddie Bazinet of Eriksdale, Manitoba, daughter, Linda Mark (Llewelyn) of Surrey, BC, son, Neil Gauthier (Pam) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, grandchildren Caitlind and Keenan, stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren Heather (Adrian), Sharon (Raul), David, Bethany and Griffin. Alice will be greatly missed by her many nephews, nieces, friends and extended family. The funeral will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, #1 Hwy. E. at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014. The family wishes to express thanks to the staff of Windsor Park Place and Tache Centre for the excellent care given to Alice in the last years of her life.
