Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA LIDIA NOVAK February 1, 1936 - December 24, 2013 It is with great sadness the family announces that mom/mama passed away on December 24, 2013. Mom was born in Budapest, Hungary and grew up in Fertorákos, Hungary. During the 1956 uprising, mom came to Canada, where she met and married her husband, Frank Novak, who predeceased her in 1997. Mom was very dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed, especially by her daughter Maria (Rick), grandson Anthony (Brittney), and her son Frank (Tracey), grandson Jason (Lacey). Also, left to mourn, in her passing are sister Veronika, nephew Alex (Joanne) and niece Sylvia as well as many friends and family in Canada and Hungary. Cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony will be held. Please celebrate mom by reminiscing of your fond memories of time spent together. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those desiring, donations may be made in mom's memory to the Hungarian Cultural Society, 441-443 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2W 2M4 or a charity of your choice. Mom we love you and miss you.
