AUDREY LORRAINE KANSAS (nee PITRE) Lil Audrey passed away peacefully, on the evening of December 21, 2013. Kind and gentle Audrey will be fondly honored in thought by sons John (Terrie) and Ken (Joanne), granddaughters Caleigh and Julia, grandsons Brent and Cam, brother Marcel and many many relatives (especially the Pitre clan) and friends. Audrey was predeceased by her parents Joe and Martina of Lac du Bonnet, MB, husband Archie, darling daughter Lois and numerous siblings. Audrey was born and raised in Lac du Bonnet, MB, she married Archie and the two raised their little family in the Fort Garry area of Winnipeg. After a brief adventure to interior of British Columbia, Audrey eventually moved back to Winnipeg where she was to spend her final years. There will be many small private ceremonies over the next few months, celebrating and remembering Audrey's life of 84 years... So, in lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to MADD, (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) at www.madd.ca, an organization Audrey was passionately in support of since young Lois was taken away from her so many years ago. At the very least, give your mother or anyone close for that matter, a big hug while remembering Audrey. Thank you to all the staff working in C2 wing at Riverview Health Center, for taking care of Audrey over the last few years.
