Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE ANDERSON (TIMLICK) Peacefully, on December 27, 2013, with Margaret by her side, Irene climbed the stairway to heaven to join her beloved Geordie. Irene was born November 2, 1910 to David and Mabel Timlick (Post) on the family farm in Greenridge, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and two sisters, and her husband George. Surviving is her brother Grant (Marion) Timlick, several nieces and nephews. Irene's legacy will be carried on through her children, Wendy (Jim) Bezan, Inglis MB and their six children; George (Ginger) Anderson, Victoria, BC and his two girls; Margaret (Ray) Taplin, Winnipeg, and their five children. Also surviving are Irene's 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Irene, in her 103 years, did and saw more than most of us will ever be able to. She lived in the high Arctic, Inglis, MB and Pointe du Bois, MB, until her retirement in 1991 when she moved to Winnipeg. The family thanks Kildonan Personal Care Home for their excellent care and friendship. We always knew that our mother received gentle care and love from the staff, and this made our lives so much easier. Also to Alynne Laurie Anderson, Trevor Laurie and Shaneen Parker a big thank you for all the support you provided me over the years. The closeness between you and Grandma was very much appreciated. As per Irene's wishes there will not be a formal service. A family get together is planned in the summer. She wanted her body donated to science and cremation will take place at a later date. Interment will be at the Greenridge United Church Cemetery with her parents and Geordie. Flowers graciously declined. If people wish, a donation to the Greenridge United Church, Greenridge, MB, R0A 0P0 or the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Goodnight Irene, Goodnight. Margaret our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. We remember with found memories your Mom & Dad when they worked at the store in Pointe du bois and many good times had at your Mom & Dad's place.
