Alvina and I had so much in common! We were good friends, kindred spirits, participants in the same Fellowship Group. I will miss her!! It was a privilege for me to host her, along with the group, on the day before she was hospitalized. As I grieve my loss, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to you, her family and friends. - Posted by: Betty Klassen (Friend) on: Dec 31, 2013

We will always remember the fun times we had together with Alvina and Peter, especially the times they came to our place in Dryden, to visit. Alvina loved being outdoors, in the boat, catching fish, marvelling at the scenery and Peter loved sharing his joy of fishing with her. Alvina was very observant. She first spotted a bear swimming across the water way in the distance and excitedly got James to drive closer to watch it scramble up the bank. You could easily tell how much Peter adored her by the glow around him whenever they were enjoying activities together. Alvina brought a spark back into the last years of his life and we are grateful for that. She was so full of Life! It's hard to imagine her not being on this earth anymore and feel for you, the family, in the loss of your mother and grandmother. - Posted by: James & Kate Kroeker () on: Dec 31, 2013
