  • I am truly shocked. He was such a nice person and one of the kindest people I have ever seen in my whole life. Rod, you will be always in my heart. You taught me how to operate my profession. - Posted by: Parvin (His student) on: Jul 08, 2014

  • I was shocked when I walked into Rod's pharmacy to pick up my prescription and was told that he had passed away in Edmonton. I am so very sorry to hear this. Rod had been my pharmacist for about the last 15 years from the time he was at Harmon's at Portage & Sherbrook in Winnipeg's West End. Rod was not just my pharmacist, he was my friend. I always enjoyed my conversations with him and his sharing his experiences in Africa and introducing me to his staff. He was a supporter of Indian Life Ministries where I serve and a faithful attender and supporter of his church, Elim Chapel. Rod was a true man of God, humble, compassionate, and generous. He was always sharing the love of Jesus with his staff. He was definitely a bridge builder when it came to relationships with those of other faiths. I will miss you, my friend, when I go to pick up prescriptions but I am glad to see that those you left behind will continue on. Rod's family is in my prayers. - Posted by: Jim Uttley (Friend (he was my pharmacist).) on: Jan 21, 2014

  • To Rodney's Family - We are so shocked and sorry to hear of Rodney's sudden passing. We live on the same street as Rodney and often I and our two small dogs would stop and chat with Rodney and with Lily and Pugsly when she was alive. Such nice people with a gentle spirit. Rodney will be missed. With our deepest sympathies, Andrea and John Grozli - Posted by: Andrea Grozli (Neighbor ) on: Jan 15, 2014

  • Bob knew Rod from when he was in the Harmons store on Sherbrook & Portage, and then later again when he was on Henderson. We grieved with him when Lily passed away. He always loved talking about Jesus. - Posted by: Bob & Kathy Harris (Rod was Bob's pharmacist; we were also friends with him & Kausey.) on: Jan 02, 2014
