FLOYD WILLIAM (BILL) ST. PIERRE July 13, 1933 - December 23, 2013 Peacefully on December 23 with his family at his side, Bill passed away at the age of 80 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his son Allan of Winnipeg, daughter Ruby (Don) and grandchildren Alyssa, Alannah and Colton of Tyndall MB, son Tom, grandchildren Nova and Nicolas, daughter-in-law Nicole, and grandchildren Lori, Crystal and T.J., brothers Ivan, Verne, Emile, Reggie and Larry, sisters Joyce, Francis, Alice, Julie, Jackie and many other family members residing outside of Manitoba. Bill was predeceased by his parents, adoptive mother Marie, daughter Tracy, son Terry, sisters Laurie, Judy, Phyllis and brother Wesley. Bill was born in Chatham, ON. and raised in Cochrane, ON where his adventurous personality would mold him into the man we all knew and loved. The life he led would allow him to share his many stories and knowledge of his personal adventures and experiences. Tales about the farm, taxi stand, working on the high seas in the shipping industry, James Bay project, trucking and nearly 30 years as a bush pilot in Northern Manitoba and Ontario to name a few. He always had a tale to tell that left you wanting more. Bill loved a good prank or joke and never hesitated to see them through whatever the outcome would be. His youthful spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In keeping with Bill's final wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. At a later date, his ashes will be spread at his most memorable fishing location where he taught his grandchildren to fish and told stories to family and friends. The family would like to thank his many friends with special thanks to: George and Debbie, Dallas and Gale, Dale and Joyce, Bert, Grant, Linda, and the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Bill's real life experiences that he shared with us were like stories you read in a well written adventure novel. Each experience that he shared with us was like having a separate story read to you. He was a man full of spunk and spirit and yet was a humble man; which he revealed to us in his own special way. He was a kind and a good friend to us both. We will miss him and reflect back and remember him with fondness. - Posted by: Dallas and Gale Oleschuk (Friends) on: Jan 05, 2014
