LESLIE ALLAN COLBECK Passed away with his family by his side, at the Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Lois (2010). Will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren. Dear brother of Ruby Matheson (John), and Eunice Brooks (Bill), both of Manitoba. Predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Edwin. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. In keeping with Les's wishes no service will be held. If desired, expressions of sympathy to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com

Several years ago I had the pleasure of working with Les at GE Capital in Burlington: his good humour and quick, warm smile always made the day fly. Fortunately enough for me, we met up some time later on a more personal note when his son, Greg, met and eventually married my best friend, Sue. I feel blessed having known him and his lovely wife, Lois, and sharing in wonderful memories. His was a life well lived. Forever in my prayers, Glenna - Posted by: Glenna L.
