Al was a church friend / mentor with whom I enjoyed many hours of debate and conversation during my teen years. Al was inquisitive and progressive in his thinking and beliefs... my prayers and thoughts are with all those whose lives were touched by his spirit. He would want us to be strong, keep the faith and never give up until we all meet again. - Posted by: Lea Gaundroue (church friend) on: Jan 07, 2014

it touches me deeply to hear of Albert's passing. I always enjoyed his optimistic personality in spite of the adversities of life he faced. We shared a bachelor pad with 2 other guys back in 1973-74. He had just turned 17 and was going through tough times. I sometimes wondered how things were going for him the last 15-20 years. I want the family to know this touches close to the heart and will for some time. Wish we could have at least conversed once more before his passing. "We will see you soon enough my friend!" I pray daily for the relatives comforting by God's Holy Spirit and hope someone might drop me an e-mail or call. I will try to get someone's number and call. I think Don Kane has a phone number. - Posted by: edward laberge (past friend) on: Jan 05, 2014
