HEATHER TAILLIEU (nee MANN) June 24, 1924 January 2, 2014 Heather Taillieu, beloved wife of Marcel, passed away peacefully at the Meadowood Manor on January 2, 2014. She was the youngest child of Alexander and Germaine Mann. Heather was raised in the Fort Rouge area and married to Marcel on May 22, 1943, moving with him to the family farm in Charleswood, where they raised their family. She is survived by her loving husband Marcel of 70 and one half years; their children, Elaine Pitman, Wendy Wallis, Wayne Taillieu, and Garry Taillieu; grandchildren, Wendy, Karen, Daemon (Destiny), Tim (Aime), Andrea (Jay), Tammy (Brent), Shelly, and Jody. Heather is also survived by many great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty, Joyce, and Mary; and numerous nephews and nieces. Heather was predeceased by her parents, sisters Agnes DeVos and Katy Coopman, brothers David and Marcel Mann, daughter-in-law Lynda Taillieu and son-in-law Barry Wallis. Heather was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. We will always miss you and be grateful for the time we had with you, and the wonderful memories you have left us. The family wish to thank the staff of Meadowood Manor for the exceptional care and support given to Heather and her family over the three years she resided there. Her memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne's Road, Winnipeg, MB.
