JOHN LECKY SHEPPARD John Sheppard (born 1927), husband of Ruth, father of Cathy, Marjorie, Teresa, and John II; grandfather of Nicole, Lyndsey, Matthew, and John III; and great-grandfather of Mya, passed away at Kelowna General Hospital on January 2, 2014 from complications following surgery. John served in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War and the Korean War, and was an electrical contractor in Winnipeg prior to retiring to the Okanagan in 1993. He was predeceased by Marjorie and will be sadly missed by the rest of his family.
