Guy was such a pleasure to work with when convocation rolled around. His good humour never failed to lighten a tense situation and he was truly committed to doing the best job possible. To Wendy and family, please know that you are in my thoughts at this difficult time. - Posted by: Nancy Edge McKinnon (Co-worker) on: Jan 25, 2014

Very sad news. Guy was a terrific guy, always upbeat. We had a great time golfing together at last year's RRC tournament. I'll miss him. - Posted by: Graham Thomson (Co-worker) on: Jan 22, 2014

While working at the RRCSA, Guy would jokingly tell me, "You're a good man... not a great man... but a good man." We both would laugh, as we often did with many of his humourous catch phrases. In retrospect, I can truly say, Guy was a GREAT man... not just a good man... but a great one. He touched and livened the days of all who knew him. It was a great pleasure to work with him and he has made a positive influence on my life. I am very saddened to hear of his passing and my thoughts are with his family. Take care. - Posted by: Michael Blatherwick (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2014

"Hello Guy!" "Hello Guy!" That was our RRC hallway greeting for years. We first met in the North Gym where we played badminton off and on for over 15 years until my retirement from the College last year. Guy was the epitome of a good sport: energetic, fair, humble in victory, gracious in defeat. His sense of humour was infectious. I consider myself richer for having known him and offer my deepest condolences to his family. I will remember him fondly. - Posted by: Guy Dugas (friend) on: Jan 22, 2014

First and foremost, my deepest condolences to Guy's wife, family and friends. I am truly sad to hear of his passing. I met Guy a few years ago at the Red River College Career Fair. I never met a person so passionate about his work like Guy. I told him last year he was by far the best Event Coordinator I've dealt with in all my years doing these Career Fair Events. Guy not only did his job exceptionally well, but went above the call of duty to help any way he can. Guy was truly a great person and I, as well as my colleagues, will miss him. - Posted by: Jeff Aquino (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2014
