LOIS MARIE MCMURRAY With sadness, the family of Lois Marie McMurray announces her passing on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Lois will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Meaghan; son Mark (Terri); stepdaughters Glenna (Ian) and Gail, and granddaughter Shayla. She was predeceased by her husband Percy; son Blake; stepsons Allan and Dennis, and sisters Yvonne and Edna. Friends who would like to pay their respects to Lois and her family are invited to an uplifting, informal gathering / luncheon in honour of Lois at Meaghan's, 248 Moorgate Street, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the staff at the Health Sciences Centre who cared for Mom in the last weeks of her life. I am saddened to hear of Lois' passing. I have so many fond memories of both meeting Lois and my friendships with her family. I hope that the pain of loss felt by her children and grandchildren gently recedes, like the rain, only to leave you with the promising joy of sunshine that is found in the rich beauty of the bonds that ties you together.
