Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENN WILLIAM DANCHAK April 22, 1964 - January 18, 2014 Suddenly, in the early morning hours of January 18, 2014, Glenn William Danchak C.G.A., passed away at the Westview Health Center in Stony Plain, Alberta. Words cannot express the shock and sorrow felt by family and friends. Glenn will be remembered by his love and wife Colleen (nee Tusa), his sisters Karen and Linda, mother-in-law Jeanne, sisters-in-law Heather (Chris) Hubert, Cheryl (Chris) Bernshine and Karen Tusa. As well as his cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Glenn is predeceased by his father Leonard, mother Arlene, father-in-law Martin, grandmother(s) Anne Emslie and Annastasia Danchak. Glenn devoted his time to mentoring those around him. He always saw the potential in people and endeavored to help them achieve it. It always disappointed him when others would not strive to be their best. Glenn was an avid golfer, and sports fan. He grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but currently resided in Spruce Grove, Alberta. He loved to travel and most recently enjoyed a trip to Phoenix, Arizona. Glenn was a special human being. Huge heart, fierce friend, loyal to those he loved and respected, a twisted sense of humour with a twinkle in his eye. We ask you to join us in a celebration of his life at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, services will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. Donations in Glenn's name to your charity of choice, in lieu of flowers Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

God blesses those who mourn. He will see that they are comforted. When Jesus found out John the baptist was killed he went off to a quiet place to mourn and the Father not only comforted him, but empowered him. Immediately after what must have been a deeply emotional prayer were Jesus probably cried his eyes out and poured out his sorrow over the loss of a very special friend and co-worker, and he cried out this loss directly to the Father, immediately after Jesus' deeply emotional prayer he performed several of his most amazing miracles: feeds the five thousand, walks on water, defeats the Pharisees in oped discussion and feeds the four thousand. This amazing power Jesus welded immediately after opening his heart to the Father in the state of full mourning over the loss of his dear friend John was no coincidence. When we are in a state of mourning our heart becomes full of grief and sorrow, but when we open it wide to God in private prayer a corridor opens between us and God. God can reach down through that corridor, comfort you, consul you and give you the power to carry on. As a brother in Christ to Colleen my wife and I offer our sincere condolences. I will be at the CCC each Sunday now Colleen and I hope to see you there soon. My prayers are with you each day in your loss. - Posted by: Roger Herbert (Part of Colleen's faith community at CCC ) on: Jan 31, 2014

HERE IS OUR PRAYER FOR YOU: ""Gracious God: As your Son hung on the cross, You knew the pain of loss and heartbreak. We trust that You are with Colleen & her family in their time of sadness and grief. Please allow the grief to do its work in their hearts and assure them of Your Presence, as well as give them strength to face the days ahead. We pray for people to surround them who will weep when they weep and rejoice when they rejoice. Precious Lord: We also believe that you will give them Hope in the Glorious Resurrection to come, through Your SON, "Jesus Christ." In Your most Holy Name: AMEN."" - Posted by: Mr & Mrs. William & Jenny Dyer/Mackay (Church friends from CrossRoads Community Church) on: Jan 27, 2014
