DOUGLAS HESTER Peacefully, after a courageous battle, Douglas Hester passed away at the age of 87 surrounded by family and his wife of 68 years, Jean. A special thank you to all the staff at Meadowood Manor for their care and kindness during this time. A memorial service will take place at Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne's Road on Thursday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Humane Society.

My sincere condolences on your loss. I remember Doug as such a great guy with such a wonderful sense of humour. Co-workers come and go and you don't remember them all, but I certainly remember him.
