Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryORLAND (PAT) (RED) DIMICK With a heavy heart, the family of Orland "Pat or Red" Dimick, announce his passing. At the age of 84 on Saturday January 18, 2014 in the Victoria Hospital Emergency with his family around him, he passed quickly, quietly and without suffering. Orland is predeceased by his wife of 51 years Patricia. His parents, Charles and Mary Dimick. His sister Alma Cunningham and his brothers Elgin, Lester, Melvin, Harry and Harold. Orland is survived by his sisters Cleo Schofield and Goldie Flannigan. He is also survived by his son Neal and his wife Janice Nikkel, daughters Carole Friborg and her husband Leif Friborg, Shara Lamontagne and her husband David Weichel and his grandchildren Mackenzie and Jarrod Lamontagne, Jacob and Joshua Weichel. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Orland was born in Harris, SK, but spent most of his adult years working in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan in construction on heavy machinery, but he loved nothing more than driving his grader. He was a very hard working individual with a mischievous smile. All that knew him enjoyed his company and always described him as a quiet, gentle soul. He will always be loved and missed but is now back with his wife, lovingly nagging at each other as they always did. As per his wishes, Orland was cremated at Wheeler Funeral Home. His ashes will be spread on his most memorable locations. The family held a quiet dinner in memory of Orland sharing many stories and laughter on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
