Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I just came across Sandra's obit, and was shocked and very saddened. Sandra was a huge part of my life during the time I worked at Duffy's taxi. She was loving and caring, and when I left Duffy's in 1999, I missed Sandra's friendship. I have thought about her many times over the years, and had wondered how she was doing. I should have reached out, but after I left Winnipeg and moved to Calgary, I wasn't able to find out where she was. God Bless you Sandra, and many blessings and prayers to the entire family. - Posted by: Teri Isaac (long lost friend/co-worker) on: Dec 21, 2015

  • As Sandra would say hi honey. I'm so sorry it took me so long to do this I think about you all the time, as I was growing up if you were in the Thompson family you were partly raised by all the strong women in the family. The would back you to hell and back and if needed they would tell you if you were full out it. Now that's love and the Thompson women were not shy. I miss you all so much. Some of my best time were at Nanny house on Sunday's with the family there for supper, then playing cards well POKER lol well late in to the night late, and they all let the kids play the last hand most nights. Never a kid was left out in our family. Well good bye honey and enjoy being able to do as you wish now pain free. P.S. now you can all sit around and laugh and smoke and drink coke and pepsi and watch over us all, at your table is you my love, Sandra, Laurie, Poppa, Nanny, Linda, Donny, and I'm sure Audry will drop in. Miss you all and will see you at the last hand of cards LOVE ALLAN. - Posted by: Allan Roulston (Nephew ) on: Aug 10, 2014
