Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(JUNE) MAUREEN REID Maureen Reid passed away peacefully on December 12, 2013 in Mountain View, CA. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Reid in August this year and leaves behind her two sons, William and Cameron, her two caring daughters-in-law, Helen and Lesley, and three beautiful granddaughters, Carly, Ciara, and Shannon. Maureen was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and a proud Gordon Bell girl. Maureen caught the eye of Donald Reid in high school, but it took many years of courting for Don to win the hand of Maureen in 1952. Maureen was a devoted wife to Don and a great mother for her two sons. Maureen will always be remembered for her love of family and friends - she was always able to elicit a smile and help you appreciate all your blessings. She was a great homemaker and artist. Her home displayed several of her original oil paintings of which she was most proud. Christmas was her favourite holiday, and she went to great lengths to ensure her home sparkled in the holiday spirit, both inside and out. We love you mom, and we miss you. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Maureen's name.

Dear Maureen and Don - So sorry to read both recent messages for Don and Maureen. I was a good friend and buddy with Don when he spent his early times at Great-West Life in Wpg. Every time I pass their first home on Point Road, the pleasant memories of good friends come to mind.
