JOHN FRANCIS (JACK) GAMBLE December 24, 1934 - January 12, 2014 With sadness and reflection, we mourn the passing of Jack Gamble in Chilliwack, BC on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Jack was born and raised in Thunder Bay, ON where he attended St. Andrew's Roman Catholic School and Port Arthur Collegiate Institute. He was always in sales, beginning with Dorothy Douglas and McNulty's in Port Arthur, ON. After his marriage to Gladys, his wife of 50 years, they moved to Winnipeg. Jack and Gladys raised their family in Winnipeg, but after retirement, they moved to Chilliwack (Sardis), BC in 2004. Jack made many new friends, and was active in local golf and curling clubs. Jack is survived by his loving wife Gladys, who cared for him in their home until his passing; his children, Jacqueline of Didsbury, AB; Michael of Seattle, WA, and David (Mary) of Abbotsford, BC; one grandson, Matthew of Didsbury, AB; brothers James (Frances), Patrick (Elsa), and sister Mary Jane Wedding, all of Thunder Bay. Jack was predeceased by his parents John and Beatrice Gamble.
