I remember a time when we were at my cabin and making jiffy pop over the fire. Greg kept saying "Uncle Len, it's not popping." Uncle Len said to Greg (who was around 8 or 10) "that's because you gotta sing to it Greg. Let me show you. You hold it over the fire, you shake it and you sing quietly....shake, rattle and roll...you gotta shake rattle and roll..." Greg was so excited when he started singing and shaking it and it started to pop!! I always played that game on my 3 sons when we camped and I thought of Greg every single time I see jiffy pop.
