HELEN M. HUNTER Helen passed away peacefully on February 2, 2014 at Totem Lodge in Sechelt, BC, at the age of 97. Born in Dundee, Scotland on October 25, 1916, she immigrated to Canada with her family as a young child, and grew up in the St. Vital area of Winnipeg. She was a loyal and astute businesswoman, and worked for the St. Paul Insurance Company for over 30 years. Her family and friends will lovingly remember Helen as a bright and very generous lady, with a passion for real estate and travel. Even in her 90s, she was always ready for a new challenge or adventure. Predeceased by her first love and husband, James Adrian Cunningham, who lost his life during the Second World War, and her second husband Arthur Hunter, and her brothers George and Alex Soppet, Helen is survived by her stepbrother Edward Woods, her son, grandson, granddaughter and two great-granddaughters, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
