Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYDIA KINNEAR (nee KRAUSHAR) January 16, 1908 - January 26, 2014 Lydia passed away peacefully at Cerwydden Seniors Care in Duncan, BC. She was born in Herzel, SK, the second of nine children. In 1939, she married James Kinnear, in Brandon, MB. In 1973, when Jimmy retired, they moved to Victoria, BC. After Jimmy's passing, Lydia stayed in Victoria for a few years and then at the age of 99, moved to Duncan, BC. Lydia is predeceased by her husband Jimmy Kinnear, her stepson Bob Kinnear and his wife Billy, as well as seven of her siblings. She will be sadly missed by sister Elenora of Duncan, BC, brother Albert of Nova, OH, USA, grandsons Brad (Andrea) Kinnear (daughter Korinn Thiessen) and Barry Kinnear of Winnipeg; her nephew Bev Kraushar (Jackie) of Duncan, BC and their family Corinne (Scott), Joanne (Dale), Nicole and Ashley as well her many nieces, nephews and friends. For all, Lydia was a lovely lady and a gift to have in our lives. Lydia has been cremated and will be laid to rest with Jimmy in Winnipeg at a later date. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Tom Rimmer and the management and staff of Cerwydden Care.
