We were deeply saddened to hear of Brett's passing. As our neighbour for 10 years we got to know him very well and enjoyed his company. He was always ready with a friendly joke or teasing and he readily accepted one in return. Brett was a young man at heart and enjoyed helping others. We pass along our prayers to his family and he always has a place in our hearts. - Posted by: Dale Manning -Dr.Norma Charriere (neighbour) on: Feb 14, 2014

I remember when Brett and his family moved to The Pas. He and I were almost the same age, so our paths crossed many times in school and sporting events. Met him again while in Thompson.....and he had not changed a bit. Very sorry to hear of his passing.........I thought he was a pretty good guy. - Posted by: Bob Crawley () on: Feb 14, 2014

I moved to Thompson 8 years ago to be with my husband, Paul, a longtime family friend of Brett. We spent countless hours visiting Brett at Rick's Marine talking about what he loved most, snowmobiles/motorcycles. We were saddened by his decision to leave Thompson but always looked forward to his visits when he occasionally returned. The last time I saw Brett, I was pregnant with our daughter (2012) and he called me some unflattering words, but I wasn't offended because I knew that insulting me, was Brett's way of showing love. I'll never forget some of the conversations we had. We shared many laughs. They will stick with me forever. Oh Brett. We'll miss you. Our sincerest condolences go out to Brett's family. Rest well old friend. OX - Posted by: Katie Hibbs (Family friend) on: Feb 09, 2014
