Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUGENE KOZYNIAK After a long and productive life, Eugene peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Left to lovingly remember Eugene are his children Jennifer (Michael) and Chris; granddaughter Madeline; sister Stella; as well as other special extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Nellie; and brothers Walter and Mike. Eugene was born and raised on the family farm in Libau, Manitoba. He worked his entire life on the farm, leaving a lasting legacy for his family that will forever be cherished. He was extremely successful in his farming activities and took great pride in his homemade inventions. He loved a good conversation and had a silly sense of humour that could make anyone laugh. Although private, he had a welcoming and gracious personality that gave those in his presence a sense of well-being and security. In keeping with Eugene's wishes there will be no formal service. There will be a private celebration of his life at a later date.

I am truly sorry to hear of Eugene's Kozyniak's passing. I remember visiting his farm as a child and getting to ride on a tractor which was a great treat for a city girl from the west coast. I also remember vividly the beautiful landscape of the prairies in the late summer when the fields are nearing harvest and the patchwork of colorful fields can be seen for miles. I send my condolences to Jennifer, Chris and Eugene's sister Stella who are mourning his passing.
