LEE CREEK With sadness in our hearts, the family wishes to announce the passing of Lee Creek (nee Steffenson), on January 31, 2014, at the age of 89 years. Lee was born on October 6, 1924, in Monominto, MB. After many years of working hard, Lee was able to enjoy her retirement. She looked forward to all of her many travels, from day trips in Manitoba to European excursions. She was involved in many different dance groups, and was an avid participant and volunteer at the Gable Arms Club Room. However, the most important things to Lee were her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert (1975), father Marius (1961), mother Katherine (1976), and sister Julia (1990). Lee's memory will live on in the hearts of her son Neil (Debbie), daughter Corinne (Daroll), granddaughters Kristen (Josh), Lindsay (Drew), Chelsea (Bob), Ashley (Dan) and great-granddaughter Tesla. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Kaye Sigurdson, brother George Steffenson, sister-in-law Margaret Dupre, and many family members and friends. We will all miss her and take pleasure in remembering the many happy times we've spent together. The family would especially like to thank mom's special friend Michael Tarapacki for his friendship and loving care that he gave Mom over the years. In keeping with Lee's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest with her husband in a private family gathering this spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee's memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, or to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. "My life on earth is truly past I've loved you all to the very last Weep not for me, but courage take and love one another for my sake" Love "Mom" For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
