Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Mabel's clients and colleagues always enjoyed her company and her sense of humor. We worked well together and we are sorry to read of her passing. We have many good memories. - Posted by: Karl and Gretchen (worked in our salon before retirement) on: Feb 20, 2014

  • Dear Dad, Little Charlie and family, so sad to hear of your loss. I remember going to the hair salon where Mabel worked and getting my hair cut. She always did a fantastic job. You are all in my thoughts, heartfelt sympathies. Love Dolores and family - Posted by: Dolores Dzik () on: Feb 20, 2014

  • I am the oldest niece now and have had the honour of being Mabel's niece for 71 years. No-one could ask for a more loving or giving Aunt. She was extremely independent, tenacious and loved life. I enjoyed many evenings over the years listening to her playing her guitar and singing along with her and other family members. She was a great story teller and shared many of those with us over the years as well. Many New Year's dinners were spent at her home filled with good food, music and laughter. Thanks for the memories Auntie Mabel. Love you. Phemmie - Posted by: Euphemia Anne Balkissoon (Nee Heggie) (Niece) on: Feb 19, 2014
