Date of Passing: Feb 12, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVYONNE EMMELIEN TEMPLETON (nee TRUMBLEY) On February 12, 2014, Evyonne, in her 88th year, peacefully journeyed to her eternal resting place to be reunited with the love of her life, John Alexander, who predeceased her in July, 2002. Left to cherish her memory are her children Larry (Darlene), Christina, John (Lori), Shirley (Ron); grandchildren Lawrence (Michelle), Paul, Joel, Billy (Lisa), Conrad; great-grandchildren Tyler, Michael, Tiana, Lexi; sisters Tillie, Lynda; brothers-in-law Bob, Gilles, Dennis, Ernie; her longtime friends Helen and Bill Sibbald and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father Charles Trumbley and mother Gertrude Wyness; sons Carl and Robert; son-in-law Friedel; brother Fred; sisters Mae, Cecile and Joyce; brother-in-law Ray; sisters-in-law Ivy Trumbley, Doreen Trumbley, Hazel Templeton and Helen Orpin; nephew Jack Sutton, nieces Barbara Topnik and Carol Archer, and granddaughter Deanna. Our parents found solace in the quite country places they visited and spending time at their cabin. Mom loved music, singing along as she did housework. She enjoyed reading, dancing and having tea with friends and family. Evyonne was a genuinely affectionate, sentimental and tenderhearted soul. Family was the focus of her life and she always provided a warm and loving home to all who entered. She had an extremely strong work ethic and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Mom inspired everyone with how she handled her personal challenges, her resilience was remarkable. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Our hearts have been touched forever, the years, hours and special moments we shared will be forever captured in our hearts, her love is our legacy. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Lutheran Church, 3486 Raleigh Street, East St. Paul, off Hoddinott Road. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their excellent care, compassion, respect and support with special thanks to Rachel for being Mom's voice and strong supporter in her time of need. Flowers gratefully declined. One of Mom's favourite sayings was: "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience", so in honour of her: extend a special gesture of kindness to a total stranger, or you may make a donation in Evyonne's memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Wildlife Association. "I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone O Lord, make me dwell in safety." -Psalm 4:8- For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Our sincerest condolences. We worked with Eyonne when she worked at the Child Guidance Clinic as a GREAT Social Worker. Her positive friendly attitude rubbed off on everyone she came in contact with. She loved to play bridge during her lunch hour and she had many friends that enjoyed the game and her company. We will always rember her smiling face and friendliness. She is remembered and missed. She touched many lives postively in her careeer. One great lady! - Posted by: Gale Rumley Hladik and Debra Glennie (former co-workers) on: Feb 19, 2014

Meine Liebe geht an euch beide. Elaine & Leiss family - Posted by: Elaine (Leiss) Winnipeg Canada (Friend) on: Feb 15, 2014
