Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ARGYELAN DEMCHUK Elizabeth Argyelan was born in Hungary in 1918. At the age of 20 she came to Montreal, Canada. The following year she met and married Anthony Demchuk who had come to Montreal from Poland in 1925. Two years later, now with two daughters, Helen and Irene, Elizabeth and Tony moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba; and made a life there, completing the family with a third daughter, Janis. In 1998 after the death of her husband, Elizabeth came to live in Perth to be closer to two of her daughters. In the year 2000 Elizabeth lost her youngest daughter Janis to cancer. She remained in Perth till her death on February 5, 2014. She is remembered fondly and with love by many, including two grandchildren, Jeremy and Lara; and three great-grandchildren, Willow, Wednesday and Tristan; as well as cousins on the Polish side of the family. In remembrance, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Family condolences to www.blairandson.com.
