WINIFRED MARY BIRT Passed away on January 30, 2014, at Braddan Private Hospital, Vancouver, in her 88th year. Born in Winnipeg, she spent her life caring for her family, first her mother through her ailing years, then her father and lastly brother Jack. We will miss her and we hope she is at peace knowing how much she was loved and appreciated for her many years of devoted service to her family. Daughter of Annie Winifred (Copus) Birt and Robert A. F. Birt of Winnipeg and predeceased by her brothers Jack and Bob, Winifred is survived by her nephew Charles (Barbara), niece Jackie Morris (Michael), great nieces Laura MacDonald (Iain), Allison Birt (Graham) and Joni Freeman (Luke) and great grandnephew Reid MacDonald. There will be a private family service and interment of her ashes at St. Phillips Anglican Church, Vancouver.
