Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY ARTHUR JOSEPH GUILBAULT April 29, 1928 - February 14, 2014 Peacefully in his sleep at the age of 85 at the Health Sciences Centre, our beloved husband, father, brother-in-law, grandpa and papa, Henry "Hank" Guilbault was called to Heaven. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years Shirl, his children; Wanda, Janet, Gary (Tammy), Jason (Mary Ann) his grandchildren; Scott, Ronnie (Chrystal), Jason (Natalie), Stacey (Pierre), Steven (Amanda), Nick (Gaylene), Luke (Claudia), Angela (Isaac) his great-grandchildren; Tana, Sean, Jaylie, Emily, Bryson, Brooke, Taylor, Julia, Mason, and also numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and various nieces and nephews. Hank was predeceased by his parents and numerous siblings and two sons-in-law. Hank was born in Fannystelle, MB and as a young man moved to the city of Winnipeg. Here is where he met and married his Red River Rose Shirl and raised a family. Quite a few years later Hank moved his family to Portland Oregon for six years and then returned to the city he loved most. He retired from Burns meats after 35 years of dedicated service. Hank's favourite past times and interests were: garage sailing, genealogy, love of nature, and watching his children and grandchildren's hockey games. But most of all his love of music was his true passion; from playing guitar, writing songs, listening to his records, and singing for his family. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre on D5. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel located at 1442 Main St. with a reception to follow. 204-586-8044
