John and Rob, My condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a great mother and a person who I enjoyed spending time with when over visiting on Pinewood as was your father. I will remember them fondly. - Posted by: Gordon Askew () on: Feb 26, 2014

I'm sorry that my health in recent years has prevented me from visiting Joy, other than the odd phone call. We became friends at Guild meetings and working at the Children's Hospital Book Market. My sympathies to all the family. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service, so I will close with the pet name we called each other (with an Irish brogue): "Farewell, me everlastin' darlin'!" - Posted by: Dorothy Faris (Friend & Fellow member of the Annie A. Bond Guild) on: Feb 23, 2014
