BERTHA HELENA HENRY August 23, 1920 - February 13, 2014 In her 94th year of life Bertha passed peacefully and without regret surrounded by her family at University Hospital London, Ontario after a long and happy life full of sweet compassion and grace. She was strong and lived on her own until one week before her passing. Bertha arrived in Manitoba when she was four from Holland and spent many years farming near Portage la Prairie before moving to Winnipeg in 1965. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Leonard Wesley, brothers, Albert (Lena), Peter (Jean), Jack (Jean), Leonard, John (Ruby) and daughter-in-law Ginny. She is survived by her children, Randall (Cindy), Wes (Joyce), William, Patrick (Denise), Jan (Steve) plus 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Eliza. Bertha's cremains will be laid to rest in Rosendale, Manitoba (in the summer of 2014) along side her beloved husband Wesley. Family and friends will continue to celebrate her life as she lives on in our hearts and memories.
