SAM MAMALYGA June 6, 1924 - February 22, 2014 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Sam was predeceased by his parents Mike and Ann, wife Grace, brother John, daughter Shirley, and son Michael. Sam has left to mourn his sister Lena, daughters Joan, Bernice and Anita (Pete), niece, nephew, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Thank you for the care provided by CancerCare, home care and the staff at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. As per Sam's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. "You will be forever missed and loved by all who knew you" Rest In Peace.

  • I feel very fortunate to have been part of Uncle Sam's life we shared great conversations and many laughs. He never complained about anything and had a positive outlook in life.
