Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE (JARYSZ) WOWK December 9, 1912 - February 23, 2014 In the early morning of February 23, 2014 Anne Wowk, beloved Mother and Baba, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Holy Family Home. Anne was born on December 9, 1912 in the Municipality of Rossburn, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, eight siblings, numerous aunts, uncles, friends and son-in-law Morley Rogowski. She was a skilled culinarian and worked in various places such as Kelekis restaurant, Winnipeg Winter Club, St. Charles Country Club and in the Northwest Territories at Great Slave Lake and Tree River Fishing Lodge. She was a devoted Ukrainian Catholic who loved gardening and volunteered at St. Nicholas Church for many years making perogies, planting and caring for the flower beds. She was an avid traveler who loved visiting her grandchildren in locations like England, Japan, New York City and all across Canada. Celebrating her long life are her two daughters: Aviva Tymchyshyn and Sonia Rogowski; grandchildren: Rob (Nancy) Tymchyshyn, James (Trish) Tymchyshyn, Tannis (Mario) Scerbo, Darren (Shima) Rogowski, Tessa (Chris) Rogowski and Savanne Rogowski, and great-grandchildren: Taylor and Ryder Tymchyshyn, Sarah and Rachael Scerbo, and Skyler Rogowski. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Holy Family Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Family Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave. or a charity of your choice. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. A private interment will take place. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT
